Happy Dog Rescue was organized in 2003 by a small group of volunteers in Tennessee to rescue dogs from shelters and rehome them locally with loving families.

effective and user friendly for our adopters and to help us match the right Happy Dog to the right Forever Family.

Since 2003 we've been matching loving and loyal Happy Dogs with wonderful Forever Families in the Northeast.
Potential adopters will learn all about their dog in a phone interview with the foster mom. Our emphasis is on matching the right dog to the right family so that all will have many happy years together.
South to North
Happy
Dogs remain in Southern foster homes until they are adopted by their
Forever Families in the Northeast.
Completely Vetted
Happy
Dogs are altered, vaccinated, treated for any intestinal parasites, tested
for heartworms, placed on flea/ heartworm prevention.
Transport
Happy
Dogs travel every week from the South to the Northeast aboard
USDA-certified professional transport carriers.
